This is a uniquely designed rig, it has a completely self-contained mud system, whereby utilizing the 24" surface hole with 2' depth, the sand pump is placed in the surface hole and this allows the cuttings to be circulated through the mud system where the cuttings are removed and the fluid is then returned to the well bore through the kelly.
One man can, and has, operated this rig.
