HURRICANE RELIEF VESSELS AND EQUIPMENT

Wanted:
Cargo vessel with capacity of 50-100 40' containers, ro/ro vessel, or large supply vessel with crane capacity to transport cargo from Florida to Puerto Rico. Must have US Flag.

This equipment is ideal for relief efforts in Puerto Rico, St Thomas, St Kitts, St Croix, St John, St Martin, Dominica, Barbuda, Anguilla, and other islands in Turks and Caicos, Caribbean, and Virgin Islands that were severally damaged due to Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria.

Cargo vessels sailing weekly from Port Everglades, Florida can transport equipment up to 60 tons to St. Martin with a 4 day transit time.  As an example, shipping cost of a 60' long boat is $50,000 (cargo would need to be trucked to Port Everglades at additional cost).  Other islands serviced, with lesser crane capacity are St. Lucia, Grenada, Aruba, Curacao, Panama and Columbia.

In addition, President Trump has just waived the Jones Act shipping restrictions for Puerto Rico to help expedite relief efforts which allows foreign vessels to aid in the disaster response.
